How the En Primeur Process Works (Episode 2)

How the En Primeur Process Works (Episode 2)

Here is the second video in our series on Bordeaux Wine Future. The process (simplified) takes place in several steps, the first of which starts with the tastings by professionals and media. Following this, pricing is determined on individual estate’s product as well as the overall quality of the vintage. This year’s prices have already begun to be released- several weeks earlier than the past few years. The negociants of Bordeaux (the wine merchants who together create the Place de Bordeaux) will then take care of distribution of the wines to international markets.

Stay tuned for our final two videos, explaining the Allocations System, and how you as a client can benefit from buying Wine Futures.
