The first criteria that comes to mind is the decadence of the wine, which has perfectly balanced tannic structure, that will develop over the next 14 months of barrel ageing and will be at its prime in 4 to 5 years.
In this year described as a “winegrower’s vintage” the team at Château Peyrabon made the most of the land even when factors imposed by nature challenged them.
