Dom Pérignon 2003 by David Lynch

After more than a year of close collaboration, the prestigious Champagne house Dom Pérignon and the famous American filmmaker David Lynch have come together to create the cuvée “Dom Pérignon by David Lynch.”

Dom Pérignon chose to collaborate with Lynch as they are of a kindred spirit—both exemplifying the qualities of “mystery, intensity, commitment, time, the constant reinvention of the self, and above all, absolute faith in the power of creation.”

It was in this fantastic and creative world that the jack of all trades Californian filmmaker conceived the idea for the packaging and, after photographing a bottle of Dom Pérignon, reinvented it. Inspired by his own photographs, he gave the wine a new limited edition and avant-garde look. Lynch explained that creating the label and box was a “process of tuning in and then through experimentation getting something that expresses the essential nature” of Dom Pérignon.
