En Primeurs: Appellation Margaux Chateau Rauzan-Segla released its 2012 prices today, they are 27% lower than last year
Margaux is the largest of the six communal appellations in the Médoc and one with the highest number of Grand Cru Classés (21). The soil is composed of gravel and pebbles set in sandy clay. With a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon and a large amount of Merlot, Margaux wines are generous, fruity, subtle, elegant and velvety with an extraordinary palette of flavours like with Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2012. The terroir of Margaux reveals the magic of exceptional tastes.
