Margaux is the largest of the six communal appellations in the Médoc and one with the highest number of RZS_101004_455Grand Cru Classés (21). The soil is composed of gravel and pebbles set in sandy clay. With a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon and a large amount of Merlot, Margaux wines are generous, fruity, subtle, elegant and velvety with an extraordinary palette of flavours like with Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2012.
