The 2014 vintage for Chateau Belle-Vue was handled with care and precision. Located in the Haut-Medoc appellation, the chateau commenced harvest on 30th Sept and finished on 21st October. The soil of the estate is composed of a deep layer of large-size gravel. For this vintage, particular work was done concerning the depth of the vines’ roots to ensure the best expression of the chateau’s soil. The vineyards were harvested by hand, and the fruit was manually sorted.
The 2014 Chateau Belle-Vue has been described by the estate as an expressive wine. The fruit is prominent in the palate with delicate tannins that combine brilliantly for this vintage. The wine is expected to be aged for twelve-sixteen months in 40% new oak barrels, and 60% one-year-old barrels. The blend for 2014 is 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 22% Petit Verdot.Discover Chateau Belle-Vue 2014 En Primeur (UK) Discover Chateau Belle-Vue 2014 En Primeur (HK)
