Located on the ancient, exceptional terroir of Sauternes, Clos des Lunes took full advantage of the 2014 vintage. Considered one of the greatest terroirs for white Bordeaux, the land is composed of deep gravel, which lends the wine its power, while the clay limestone soil brings freshness. With the help of the beautiful Indian summer in the month of September, the grapes were able to reach perfect ripeness. They were then harvested by hand, before the selection of homogenous lots to create the ideal blend.
The pale gold colour with green highlights suggests a freshness and energy to the wine. On the nose, the subtleties of this blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon emerge. There is a good mineral complexity in this vintage, with just a delicate hint of vanilla from the barrel. Pure and fresh, the 2014 Clos de Lunes wine has excellent balance and brilliant length.Discover Clos des Lunes 2014 (UK) Discover Clos des Lunes 2014 (HK)
