A wine from Chateau Palmer, Alter Ego is produced in the Margaux appellation. The property covers 66 hectares, and is dedicated to mostly red wine grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The vineyard is planted on leached soil, which requires careful upkeep at all times. Alter Ego de Palmer is a second expression of chateau’s terroir, which combines spontaneity and desire.

Chateau Siran’s origin dates back to September 14th, 1428 when Guilhem of Siran took the feudal oath in the church of Macau. The growing reputation of the chateau enticed the family to acquire the chateau on January 14th, 1859. The vineyard is 25 hectares and located in the Margaux appellation. The terroir, composed of gravel and sand, hosts 4 red grape varieties: 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.

Chateau Picque Caillou is a property from the Pessac-Leognan appellation. It was constructed by the famous architect, Jean Laclotte, in the 18th century. The property covers 21 hectares and 20 are used for harvesting red grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are planted on gravel-based soils and a sub-soil of Pyrenean güntz.

Chateau Ormes de Pez is a vineyard that dates back to the 18th century. The Cazes family has owned the chateau since 1940. The Cru bourgeois is a vineyard of 35 hectares with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot vines planted. The terroir is typical of the Saint-Estephe appellation, containing gravel and a sandy-clay subsoil. The property is committed to developing its expertise, while perfectly respecting the soil and the vines.
